Maybe there's something in the air. I tried to take my sons for our morning walk/bike ride/run (I push the stroller with the 2-year-old, my 4-year-old rides his bike, and I run or walk along with the bike), and I could NOT motivate myself to go faster than a walk. And my 4 yo was walking his bike, s-l-o-w-l-y, halfway through. UGH!
I took a day off of cardio...heavy period day. Later on I felt like doing some strength training and did about 20 min. I felt a bit guilty about not doing the morning cardio but I am pretty sure my body needed a day off from it :)
I went for a bike ride and it really tired me out. And I have already taken two rest days this week! Still suffering from the half marathon blues...Sometimes it is just nice to be lazy and give your body the rest it deserves.
I love rest days. In fact, I sorta had one Wednesday. Actually, I had to choose between cooking real food with real vegetables and walking...I chose the food as the leftovers carried me thru yesterday and today.
You asked about my eating at my blog - things are MUCH better now. I don't do six meals a day - I can't do that at school, there is no time. But I have a "prescribed breakfast." I bring a healthy lunch, and supper is smallish and healthy. So far so good staying within the boundries of my calories. Yayy!
